FAQs

Our supporters may want to give to specific projects such as a campaign or building fund. Can they do this?

Yes, churches and charities can set up projects. These will be visible to givers when searching or making gifts online. Upon receiving their requests, we can allocate gifts to recipient projects. Find out more on ‘setting up a project’.

What is the difference between an ‘allocated gift’ and a ‘grant’?

We allocate individual gifts into your recipient account.  We then make a payment into your bank account and this is a grant.

What is a secure message?

A secure message enables you to communicate with us in a way that is safer than sending information via email or over the phone.

Because you are already logged in to our secure system, we know that the request is genuine and the messages cannot be viewed by anyone other than our team. Send us a secure message instead of an email when your message is brief or sensitive i.e. bank details or addresses. Just click on ‘send a secure message’ in the Help and Support box.

Can I add a new bank account online?

No.  This is one of the security measures we take to protect both recipients and ourselves. You will need to send us a letter confirming your new bank details.  You should also enclose an original, pre-printed item of bank stationery showing your new bank details, such as a paying-in slip.
